A safe, inclusive space to understand yourself more deeply, make sense of what you’re carrying, and feel more connected.
Offering in-person therapy sessions in Thornbury, Naarm (Melbourne), and online across Australia.
In my therapy space, you will feel respected and welcomed just as you are.
People often come to therapy because something in their life isn’t working in the way they would like. There can be a sense of feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure why certain patterns keep repeating. You might find yourself thinking, “I don’t know why this keeps happening,” or noticing that something feels off, even if you can’t fully explain it.
For many people, this shows up in relationships — in intimate relationships, family dynamics, friendships, or at work — where things can feel difficult, confusing, unpredictable, or not as safe or satisfying as you would like.
I work with people who want to understand themselves more deeply, make sense of what they’re carrying, and feel more connected to themselves and others.
My practice is inclusive and affirming of neuro-diversity, the queer community, trans and gender‑diverse people, and sex workers.
How I support people
Many of the people I work with are navigating relationship difficulties, challenging family dynamics, work stress and burnout, old patterns that are no longer working, disconnection, anxiety and depression, grief and loss, major life adjustments, trauma, and family or sexual violence.
In therapy, I offer a space to slow things down and begin to make sense of what’s happening, with careful attention to context, safety, and power. This can involve understanding how earlier experiences may still be shaping the present, noticing patterns with curiosity rather than judgement, and developing more clarity around what you are feeling and needing.
Over time, this work can support you to feel more connected to yourself, more able to trust yourself, and less stuck in patterns that no longer serve you. It can also support safer, healthier, and more connected relationships where that feels supportive and appropriate.

A safe, welcoming space
What I offer is a space where you can let your guard down and be real about how you’re feeling. There isn’t anything you need to leave out or filter, and nothing is off the table. You don’t need to have it all figured out, or explain things perfectly, to be able to talk about them here.
I want sessions to feel like an unburdening experience, one where you leave with new understanding, practical skills, and a sense of hope, alongside the opportunity to experience a relationship that is attentive to care, respect, and safety.
We’ll move at a pace that works for you, with careful attention to context, and what feels possible. There is no pressure to push beyond your limits, and we’ll regularly check in about how the work is feeling so it remains thoughtful and supportive.

Hi, I'm Sarah
I’m an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with over 15 years’ experience working alongside people through crisis, addiction, mental health challenges, relationship difficulties, family and sexual violence, and other forms of trauma.
My work has been shaped by many years in community health and private practice, and by working with a diverse range of people facing often complex challenges. Over time, my interest in therapeutic work has continued to deepen and evolve.
I genuinely believe in the ripple effect of individual healing, that when we take the time to understand ourselves, we’re better able to relate to others and build healthier relationships within our communities.
If you’re looking for a space where you can begin to understand yourself more deeply, and where your experiences are met with care and respect, then I look forward to supporting you.
